Our history
Formerly known as Eastern District Electrics, the business was founded by David Stratford, specialising in Power Quality management. Throughout the years, Eastern District Electrics worked with our customer and channel partners in projects large and small throughout Australia and overseas. Recognising the shift towards cleaner energy, Quality Energy became a Clean Energy Council accredited solar installer and incorporated renewable energy solutions in the business’ product offering.

Luke Stratford
Managing Director
Luke has been Managing Director of Quality Energy since 2008. taking over the role from his father, David. He initially served his electrical apprenticeship in the firm before taking a four-year hiatus to work in the Oil and Gas industry in the Middle East, Algeria and the USA, where he undertook extensive product training. Luke is passionate about the electrical industry. Quality Energy, under Luke's leadership had grown into an Australian-wide supplier of specialised power quality solutions.

Operations Manager
For more than 10 years, Holly has been an integral part of Quality Energy's growth. Her organisational skills and passion for the job underpins the company's renowned reputation for customer satisfaction and delivering projects on-time and on-budget.
Andrew Scott
National Sales Manager - Renewables
With over 6 years in the renewable energy sector, specifically in C&I solar, battery and EV chargers, Andrew is customer and sales driven, focused on engagement, satisfaction and commercial outcomes. He is a strategic planner with the ability to build rapport and capacity to execute and complete multiple projects across a range of industries.
Michelle Kemp
Senior Marketing Manager
Michelle has over 20 years’ experience in marketing and more than 7 years’ experience working in the renewable and efficient energy industry. Her passion for
sustainability and the environment supports Michelle to assist with the growth of Quality Energy and to promote the fantastic work they do improving power quality,
reducing carbon emissions and helping clients save money.
Raj Elangovan
Senior Design Engineer
With 11+ years of experience in EV and renewable energy projects, Raj started his career as a site engineer on a 50MW Solar PV project and later contributed to over 1000MW of solar designs at Gensol Engineering. His expertise includes managing 100MW of solar projects at Karvy and receiving recognition in Oman for his contributions. Raj's work supports the growth of renewable energy infrastructure in Australia, having completed over 500 projects here and in the US.
