The problem

Flinders Private Hospital contacted Quality Energy to investigate a harmonic pollution issue that was causing critical hospital equipment to shut down.

The solution

Quality Energy team conducted an in-depth power quality study and installed a 400Amp Active Harmonic Filter. Despite the urgency of this project, Quality Energy were able to deliver the project in a timely manner because we assemble our systems locally.

Benefits and Outcomes

This project ensures Flinders Private Hospital’s cancer clinic can continue to operate and the hospital can continue their critical lifesaving work.

The installation of an Active Harmonic Filter reduced the harmonic levels and the clinic can now operate as required on hot weather days, without having to turn their patients away.
