The Problem

Advanced textile manufacturing is an energy intense process and, with rising commercial energy costs, Australian Textile Mills wanted a solution to save money and become more sustainable.

The Solution

Quality Energy presented a custom designed 1MW solar PV system for their heritage listed facility, together with a cost analysis for various solar finance options available. A PPA agreement was accepted.

Benefits and Outcomes

The 1MW solar PV system is estimated to produce 28% of their energy required and offset 1011 Tonnes of carbon emissions annually, all with no costs up front! Furthermore, the system will boost ATM's environmental credentials and help with carbon reporting.
