The Problem


Visy Industries' paper mill was experiencing higher electricity bill and equipment overheating in their production. Quality Energy analysed their power factor profile and found that harmonics in their electrical were causing lagging power factor and overheating. 

The Solution

To resolve the overheating issue and improve the paper mill's lagging power factor, we designed, commissioned and installed custom Quality Energy Power Factor Correction equipment. Harmonics distortion in the electrical system was addressed via the installation of Circutor's Active Harmonic Filter.
