According to the Electric Vehicle Council’s latest State of Electric Vehicles Report, electric vehicles (EV) now represent 3.39% of all vehicle sales, which is a massive 65% increase compared to 2021. The exponential growth in the number of electric vehicle market share reflects Australia’s appetite to get behind the wheels of an EV. However, Australia still needs to catch up on the number of public chargers available, with only 3,669 public chargers available across 2,147 locations in Australia.
